I parsed the ETL file into XML for making things easier:

Trace in XML format inside RAR: shutdown_info.rar

Windows 10 Pro x64

Well, Windows says it completed a graceful shutdown, but there's activity after that is logged. I would say something is potentially keeping the system up, but Windows has (according to Windows) shutdown properly and logged the shutdown event. I would say it could be an ACPI issue (it's the last system call before a shutdown is considered completed), however, this system is not on SP1 yet, and thus it also won't have 2775511 installed either:
Build Lab: 7600.16385.amd64fre.win7_rtm.090713-1255

I won't really say there's anything else that can be done until SP1 and then 2775511 is installed, and then all security-related updates from WU are installed. Please do the above, then take another trace if the issues continue. This is probably hardware, but you want to be on the latest and greatest and take a trace before we can really know for certain.

Windows 7 64-bit

Hey guys,
Thanks a lot for the replies.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to update Windows because I am on low-speed mobile internet with very low usage allowance.
I suppose the only solution to this problem is to begin replacing hardware.

The thread title states my case. I ran powercfg -energy and am posting the pdf file with the results. It has a lot of stuff in it. If somebody can take a shot at it that would be great. I will get back here in a day or two. Thanks, Motordrive:)

Shut down computer, remove all power sources, hold down power button
Why does shutting down the computer, removing the AC Adapter, removing the battery (if it is a laptop), and holding down the power button for 30 seconds fix problems in one's computer. I was recently corrected in a post of mine that this does not actually do anything unless one removes the 3 volt...
