Okay I downloaded it, do i run the setup exe file on the laptop that I'm installing windows on or do I do the setup on another computer? Sorry if I might be frustrating you, I'm kind of inexperienced with these situations.

Try to run this command inside the PC you're on .

In command prompt type the command below

    13-1_vista_win7_win8_32-64_sb.exe -a

that command should extract the .exe file for the .inf file needed to install the driver

Click Yes to the installer . It won't install the driver just extract the files

       Note
Change name of the .exe file if different

So here's what I got on cmd:

    Code:
    X:\Sources>C:

    C:\>13-1_vista_win7_win8_32-64_sb.exe -a

'13-1_vista_win7_win8_32-64_sb.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

    This is what happened before.

I renamed it setup.exe it still won't work I think it will only let me open the file directories that's it i have to put in C:\>dir\ before anything else but when I do "C:\>dir\setup.exe -a" it shows the directory of C: and it says file not found.

    How about this

    Type the following command :

    Setup.exe /A /P C:\AMDCHIPSET

       Note
Make a folder called AMDCHIPSET inside C:\ before you extract
