Cannot open any program or download

    Hey all
Recently installed the windows 7 beta today, having a few problems and after countless hours searching google for a fix i simply cant find any, so here goes:

    - I cant open any programs, at all - im getting the error 'This program is not a valid Win32 Application' even when i have made sure it is.

    - I can download files, but when they are complete the file/s are not there and the sizes are '0 kb'

    - Also i cant make them appear on my desktop when finished downloading? Even if i run it in administrative mode.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

    - Sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forum, just hoping for a fast answer.

P.s. Also if anyone has any links for Soundblaster 5.1 drivers/anti viruses etc? I cant get any to work, even some that state as win32 windows 7.

    Thanks again.

Where did you get the Windows 7 Beta? This might be your biggest problem, because the legit download for RC 7100 was pulled quite some time ago.

The Enterprise version is build 7600, you have build 7100... as for your other questions, no one can be 100% sure of anything... the decision is up to you...

Yes, there are some reports on other forums. and with HACKED BOGUS
downloads in the area of 800K to over 1 million copies you surely could have one.

I recommend you get the latest version for MS, burn at 4x verify via MD5 and then clean install.
