    mpg files can't be tagged

    Hi All,

I am trying without success to tag mpg files in file proprties. I don't have such difficulties with mp4.
From security point of view all parameters are allowed.
The file created in my computer.
    Any idea to solve it?

    Thanks

What do you mean by "tagging mpg file in file properties"?

It's the same with me. I suspect that mpg doesn't support tags.

The file formats in question here do not support tagging. Here's an interesting thread on the subject with one or two useful suggestions:
Can't Edit Video Property Tags - e.g. .avi, .mpg, etc

As already said, I'm unable to tag them as well (mpg).

That comes as no great surprise in view of the fact that we have established that these file formats do not support tagging! Within the link I posted is details of a couple of third party softwares that may enable tagging of these file formts but I gave then no prominence as I haven't tried them and therefore cannot recommend them . If you decide to try them then I would suggest that before you download and install them that you create a system restore point so that if they don't work the way you expect then you can easily revert to before you installed!
