How to Rearrange Order of Grouped Windows in a button on taskbar
I hope I can articulate this properly...
I just got a new Lenovo laptop from my company (Win 7 Pro 32 bit with MS Office 2010). The behaviour of the ordering of the similarly grouped items within a button is different.
For example, I always have Outlook, Windows Explorer, IE and Excel open throughout the day, and always have multiple windows of each application open as well. So I have the Taskbar Button on the Taskbar Properties set to Always Combine, Hide Labels.
So for example, I have 3 IE windows open, let's say IE1, IE2 and IE3....opened in that sequence. In my experience, (personal laptop with Win 7 Pro 64 bit and my previous work Lenovo also with Win 7 Pro 64 bit (and frankly even my old XP and Vista machines), when I hover over the button on the taskbar where the IE windows are grouped, it will always show IE1 at the bottom, then IE2 and IE3 on top---basically, first window opened is shown at the bottom.
However, in this new machine I just got, it's behaving differently. IE3 is at the bottom and IE1 is on top. This is true for also grouped Outlook items, grouped Windows Explorer items and grouped Excel items. I just checked with a co-worker and his is doing the same.
Does anybody know how to change the ordering such that the newer opened windows show on top rather than at the bottom?
I sure hope I am explaining this correctly.
Any help will be appreciated.
