Windows 7 Professional Start Menu Search; No Results

    I don't want to download something, I want to fix the computer's internal search/indexing. I'll try rebuilding but it being me it probably won't work.

    That is your prerogative, but by downloading the program (which is extremely popular) you would at least see the difference.

    You can always uninstall it later, but I think if you would try it, you would love it.

    I'm sorry if you have been following the back-and-forth, that has only muddied the waters and had no real purpose, other than to confuse the issue.

    It's O.K., but I don't like having to start every time I want to open .minecraft or something

    Yeah, it'll do but when the windows one still worked it was faster, this being a new computer started up the first time on march 10th

    Why would you have to start "Everything" every time you play a game?
    The program is only to search for files that you can't find.

    No that isn't what I mean. It's that when I modify the game files, the actual folder is hidden.
