Cannot delete C:\file.raw
I couldn't delete C:\file.raw and discovered this was because of permissions on C:\
The list of permissions is:
Authenticated Users (no access at all)
SYSTEM (Full)
Administrators (Full) -- I'm in this group
Users (Read/List/Execute) -- I'm not in this group
When I added my "Steve" userid with full authority, I could erase the file. Being in group Administrators should give me sufficient "clout", so what is taking away my access?
I'm continually running into this issue, having to add my userid as an explicit entry, and I'm a little uncomfortable having to do this.
P.S. What makes me a "Junior Member"; I'm 62, and it's quite refreshing to be called "Junior" :)
