A good scale for finding the capacity/ability of Video cards

Hello all,

What's a good scale/measure for comparing the video cards with each other? For example I don't know how to find that which one the video card's brand or series are better or more powerful?

Is there someone that has expertise in that?

For finding the higher series of the card we should first know what series there are. I think your post a has good befit in this step for me that is, "the more memory on the card, the better the card".

No dear benji. I'd like to expand my knowledge of computer science and be familiar with the video cards, only.
May I ask what scale do you use for finding out which card is better than another one?
