Lets do some more scanning with Malwarebytes . See what it finds .
I ran Run Malwarebytes here is the log of the concerns it found
MBAM-log-2013-04-29 (05-37-45).txt
Still unable to make new folder and the folders still show as read only and revert immediately when changed/
I have not run the system file checker and I don't know how, searching on the computer and internet only seems to indicate that it if for older Windows and requires the original CD. Please clarify for me
I have removed the suspected files
The link for the system file checker is under Jeff Gordon`s race car, you don`t need anything to run it.
I ran start up repair and looked at System restore but no restore points from prior to the issues were available, still have the issues but knowing that there are no viruses can live with the issues for now at least
What does running startup repair have to do with making a new folder, did you run a system file check yet ?
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
I am not the sharpest tack in the stack, finally I understood what you were saying and ran SFC, it did the verification and
did not find any integrity violations
The DDS log shows that you are running two Anti-virus programs ...
AVG and Kaspersky PURE 3.0. Uninstall one of them.
