My password won't work, even though it is definitely correct?

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me with a password program? I have an Acer Aspire One netbook running on Windows 7 starter and have just logged on as normal with my password. Whilst on there, it wanted to do a Windows update so I did this, the netbook shut down, rebooted and asked for my password again and then nothing?? I put in the same password I have used for months and the same one that I put in less than 30 mins prior to the update but it says its incorrect?

I have tried pressing the F8 button and booting in safe mode etc but all options I choose want a password and I can't give one anymore?

Any ideas how to get back in there?

    Thank you!!!

I just used this Tutorial on a student's Vista computer last week!

Hi, thanks for your reply. I've had a read through but it's telling me to create a disk? My netbook does not have a disk drive though

That's right, netbooks are a little tougher to do without the DVD drive. So you will have to create a USB Flash drive.

I don't have all the links book marked, but they are in our tutorial section. Here is one tut, see the TIP below step 7 & the blue link for the Windows 7 USB / DVD Download Tool
