Reveal windows explorer after clicking Show Desktop

Is it possible to select what the 'Show Desktop' button shows and hides?

I want to show open windows explorer folders after clicking 'Show Desktop'

Many thanks

As far as I know, it would be easier to create a script (via AutoHotKey, AutoIt, others) to do this rather than customize the native Windows function for "Show Desktop".
