Not about hiding things (I have a folder for porn, and the wife knows where it is) and my antivirus protects my files from accidental deletion. If you've ever broken into any one's network, you know how easy it is to have fun when users with admin privileges have no password. Passwords are not that useful in protecting users from each other but rather users from outsiders or malware. But you're right, for certain situations, passwords can be eliminated altogether.
