Changing letter assigned to HDD, need to edit program paths to match.

Hi, new to these forums so I really hope I'm posting this up in the right subforum.

Long story: My old hard drive was dying, and after installing a new one I used this "EaseUS" program to clone the old HDD's data onto the new one. This worked fine except for the fact that all of my shortcuts stopped functioning because the letter assigned to the new HDD was different from the old HDD.

Is there any easy, automatic way of making all shortcuts point to the new file path? Or do I have to manually change the hard drive letter in each shortcut's properties?

Goto "disk management". Are all drive letters still the same as on old drive? if not.. you can rightclick on the wrong volume and do something like "assign drive letter". Make drive letters the same as they were before.
