    Missing screensaver


    After about a year of 'normal' operation my system has stopped displaying my selected screensaver in Windows 7 Professional 64-bit - reinstalling/resetting via Control Panel has not worked.

    Run a system file check.

    SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    Screensavers are not important, they just put stress on your graphics card and cpu, ya they look pretty.

    Just set your monitor to go off in 10 minutes, it will go a long way toward its lifespan.

Hi, I have a netbook with windows 7 starter edition, I have applied a screensaver with the tick for resume on login not ticked but it keeps putting the tick back in the box? how can I stop it?,I want the screensaver to run, thank you.:confused:

I set my screensaver for two minutes to check that it works properly. I have Windows Media Player running, and after 5 minutes, it still hasn't kicked in. Does it not work if WMP is running? I haven't touched the mouse or keyboard.
