    froqqer,

    Please start by Downloading ListParts
See Note at the end to run the appropriate version.

    Save to your Desktop
    • Double click the icon to run the program
    • Place a check on: List BCD
    • Press: Scan
    • When the Scan is completed press OK t the prompt.
    • A Result - Notepad document opens on your Desktop
Please copy/paste or attach the contents of the Result document in your reply.

    Note:
You need to know if the infected computer is running a 32-bit or 64-bit system.
    To find out, click: Start
Type System in the Start Search box
Click System in the Programs list.

The operating system is displayed as follows under System > System type:
    64-bit Operating System
    32-bit Operating System

I am really confused because now I am being told its normal for explorer.exe to take up 40,000k to 80,000k when nothing is running, but I read other places if its over 30,000k then its a problem like a virus etc.Am I just over reacting or something?

My explorer.exe is always around 20,000 to 40,000 some times a little more. I'm not infected.
