    Password recovery


    My brother passed away recently, and now we are attempting to locate/obtain necessary information on his PC needed to take care of his debts, insurance, and a few other issues that have to be resolved. However we do not know the password for the computer and have not located the password reset disc that it says is needed to do that. We do not think he made one. Is there any was to access windows to obtain the needed information?? Also, I was told that I have to re-install windows 7 to proceed, but how can I do that if I cannot even get into the system ???? Any information will be greatly appreciated.

is there anyway to find out your admin password without changing it? I even tried Ophcrack and all i got was a NT hash code but i have no idea how to decode/decrypt it.. the code: d5a11e58ebc09b7a5f7378502f08cb47 Can anyone find out what it means or recover my password some other way?
