    Computer Freezing A Lot

I have had this problem for a while now but now it is getting very bad with the computer freezing as much as like every hour sometimes.

A noticeable thing that happens when my computer freezes is the computer sounds like it is in under stress and is working hard at something.

I recorded the time of when the computer froze and went into Event Viewer to see if I can find anything at that time and I found a lot of stuff.

I have uploaded a .evtx file with the information that event viewer gave me on the time when the computer froze.

Daniel I notice in your specs you say how do you know what the cooling is - so what have you got for the CPU cooler stock, aftermarket - liquid or air etc etc

Mate and what as a mater of interest are your temps when the machine is running.

Try running Speccy - Download < from piriform and let us know what the temps are.

Addit Your PSU looks to me to be a litle on the small side too mate going by what you are running especially looking at the GPU http://www.amd.com/us/products/deskt...n-7870.aspx#/2 < look at system requirements

I had this issue before getting the new graphics cards so I don't believe it is that that is causing the issue. The problem started when I got a new CPU, more RAM, new case, and new motherboard. I got all those upgrades at the same time.

For cooling all I know is I have fans. I don't know where to the get the information of cooling so fans is all I know.

Here are the tempuratures I'm getting when all I have running is Google Chrome.

    CPU
    Intel Core i7 3770K @ 3.50GHz 50 °C
    Ivy Bridge 22nm Technology

    Motherboard
    ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. P8Z77-V LX (LGA1155) 32 °C

    Hard Drives
932GB Western Digital WDC WD10EARS-00Y5B1 ATA Device (SATA) 31 °C
    1863GB Seagate ST2000DM001-1CH164 ATA Device (SATA) 34 °C

Event viewer doesn't show anything for me at 12:25PM.

What day, what is the event id? I'm not finding it.

Is it under Application, Security, Setup, System, ???

Here are Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 that will show you how to interpret logs, utilize System Resources, establish a Clean Boot which is vital, test your hardware, and other steps leading up to if necessary getting a perfect reinstall.

Win7 should never hang or bog on adequate, tested hardware with perfect install. We can help you attain this here as it is our specialty and helped make us the top tech forums on the web.

I'm not really sure what your doing? All I do is just unzip the zip, double click the file, and go to the log in saved logs, and then there should be events.

I would think there`s something going on with the hard drive or you just have to re install windows.

Well I also recently got a new hard drive and I had this issue with both the new one and the old one so I don't think it is the hard drive.

EDIT: I have just found so much more stuff in other parts of event viewer. The next time my computer crashes, I'm going to save single thing at the time of the crash from all parts.
Is there any personal information that event viewer may record that shouldn't be seen by everyone since it seems anyone can download attachments?
