The only thing I could do was the dvd recovery media from hp. And now I can't cause the dvd drive is kaput. I can boot bios but windows refuses to boot
What makes you think the DVD drive is messed up. Boot into BIOS setup to see that DVD drive is set first to boot, or trigger it using one-time BIOS Boot Menu key.
What is your make/model PC?
Its set for first boot and I use boit menu to acces it once I select the dvd drive as my boot object and my computer lockes up and did nothibg for 3 hrs
Try reinstalling the DVD drive. Try another DVD drive.
Reinstall as in un hook it and rehok. And I only got 1dvd drive
Yes.
I did and I even swaped the connectiins between all 4 sata ports and nothin
I'm ganna have to order a flashdrive n take it to a friends house and make a bootable win7 usb
Maybe your friend has a flash stick u can borrow to save time?
