Is it possible to disable double clicking entirely?
Hi,
I was wondering if it's possible to kill the double click feature entirely. Not just for folders, but within all programs, menus, etc. I tried to search but couldn't find a way to disable it globally.
I have an older mouse that I'm rather attached to but is no longer produced. It double/triple clicks anything I single click on (both right and left buttons are now pretty bad). It's gotten so bad I can no longer click & drag files or even highlight any text. I've opened it up and cleaned it with electrical cleaner, which made it a bit better, but it's still bad. The rest of the buttons are fine though. I've also already tried increasing the double click speed to max both in the windows settings and as low as possible via registry. Still double clicks.
Anyway, I was wondering if it's possible to avoid finding a new one by just disabling double click functionality for everything. Is there a way to do that?
Thanks!
