I had no idea that those fields down there at the bottom could be edited!
This makes wonder what other 'hidden' things like this there are... Here I thought I knew Windows 7.
Edit: I was confused by what you meant at first, so here's what I did in order to make it very clear about what we're talking about:
- Click "Organize" on the top left inside the folder
- Go to "Layout" and then enable "Details pane". You'll know it's enabled when a check mark is next to it.
- The details pane is at the bottom of the folder's window and it shows details for any file that you have selected.
- Select a media file (left-click it one time)
- Hover over some of the details at the bottom and you'll see that they can be edited!
This is a good reminder to me that you really do learn something new every day.
Note: There are still a few things that are in the Details tab that are not shown in the Details pane.
