Start Windows Explorer in C:\
In Windows XP I had the following added to the Target line of Explorer's shortcut " /n, /e, C:\" and on clicking on the shortcut I was taken directly to C:\ with the other drives listed underneath.
In Win 7 this trick does not work and Explorer still insists on listing all the Favourites, then all the Libraries, then Homegroup and only then Computer and the main drives. As my thinking is fixed in XP and earlier I do not use any of the items in Favourites, nor do I use Libraries or Homegroup routinely. 99 times out of 100 I want to get to C:, D;, E; F:, or one of the drives attached to the USB ports.
Is there some way to modify the shortcut so that I can get back to the familiar picture I used under XP?
