    After Windows Updates,PC Going into standby/hibernate ??

Was hoping to get some insight into a little problem I've noticed that seems to be happening after Windows Updates. It seems that after the last 2 windows updates that instead of booting up ,my pc is going in to either the stand-by or the hibernate mode.Anybody have any ideas as to why this could be happening ??? Can't get back here right away but,all insights greatly appreciated.

so you cannot enter windows? then try going to safe mode. then in safe mode, you can check and change the power options. for a start, just disable hibernation and set not to go to standby automatically.

Run a few Startup Repairs reporting back results.

If Win7 won't boot then boot into System Recovery Options to run Startup Repair a few times, which should automate System Restore. If not, run it manually.

Now install the Updates singly with reboots while you watch.
