    Borked my C:/Users

I am new to the forum. I went to move a program from my C:/Users file to my E:/drive and midway decided to cancel the move. Well lo, and behold, alot of my icons are now missing from my desktop and my bookmarks were missing from Firefox. How do I make things as was? I have system restore turned off so that is no option because I have an SSD drive. It still looks like all my settings are still there in the C:/Users file. Just how do I make things the way they were! Thanks in advance for any help!

User Folders - Restore Default Location - Windows 7 Forums

Once they are back in the default location on C, you can move them correctly this way: User Profile - Change Default Location

If there is deeper corruption in System Files run the SFC /SCANNOW Command or as a last resort before reinstall run a Repair Install
