Unable to boot up in normal mode.

Hey everyone, wondering if anyone could help me out here. When I try login to normal mode, it either freezes on the welcome screen (after login) or takes me to a completely black screen, sometimes with a cursor and sometimes without. I'm able to boot up in safe mode and safe mode with networking, and I've done a full anti-virus scan, as well as a malwarebytes scan which have both found nothing.

    I'd appreciate any help!

    Many thanks.

Hello Rose, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Since your PC will start in Safe Mode, you might see if troubleshooting by performing a clean start may help to ID the cause.

    Hope this helps, :)

Thanks for your reply Shawn :)

I set up the clean boot in safe mode but still normal mode is refusing to load after rebooting. It's still taking me to a black screen after login.

    Again, any help is appreciated.

In that case, you could also see if doing a system restore using a restore point (if available) dated before this started to hopefully fix it.
