i have 4 different user accounts for myself (administrator account) and for my 3 kids (standard user),

the kids complain that internet speed is slow for their user accounts

when they use the IE8 from their account

as compared to when they use the IE 8 from my account

yesterday some of webpages took very long time to load in chrome as compared to IE 8 from my account

i am using Win 7 home premium 32 bit

Internet Explorer <- that is your problem :).

Try Opera Opera browser - The alternative web browser - Download free or Firefox Mozilla.

Install IE10 on the system via Windows Update just in case IE needs to be used for something. IE10 is so much more secure than IE8.

Then install Chrome* for the kids.

*If you don't mind Google being that much a part of their online lives.

IE10 has better security than IE8 - I suggest that you use it.

I tested each browser 3 times - but I had some other things going on in the background that I was not willing to kill just for these tests.

    IE10 with 54bit tabs enabled.
(See this tutorial if you want 64bit tabs.)

Palemoon 64bit - which is a version of Firefox

    Firefox 32bit

There are lots of things that could be slowing your browser down. Once you move to IE10 (or at least IE9) we can start hunting for other issues.
