I got my laptop stolen! What should I do.

    Forgot to lock the car.

What should I do? I've been changing passwords but even if I change the passwords can't they still do things on my accounts because they are already logged in?

My Lastpass is signed in on browsers. I did change my Lastpass password just now, can they still see all my accounts saved in Lastpass even though I changed the password?

But then I guess most laptop stealers probably just try to sell your computer instead of trying to pry into your privacy?

Fortunately they didn't take the power cord with them but it did have a good amount of battery.

The only thing I can help you with is; ensure you notify the police then get into your online accounts and start changing passwords. . .Good Luck.

Do you have all the info on your laptop when you bought it ?

If so first thing you should do is call Microsoft and have them deactivate the copy of windows running on that machines and ask them for a new key code

The laptop you will probably never see again also contact HP tell them what happen maybe they will give you information on how to shut down all the programs on that particular unit

They do updates and I imagine they have your info as well I would go through them as well to see if you can make the Laptop you had useless to anyone trying to use it unless they install there own copy of windows

Thank you. I killed all sessions. Does that mean it would automatically sign me out of all the accounts in that computer?

Thank you. I think BestBuy should have that info because I had warranty with them. So I will call them tomorrow morning and then call HP.
