Windows 7 upgraded from Vista 32bit
Happy with Seven

Greetings to all my helpful friends. Just this little message of thanks that I still have Windows 7 and going along good. My wife just got a new laptop with Windows eight and after a couple of days watching, I am so glad to have Seven.

She can graft on the Win7 Start menu using Windows 7 Start Menu for Windows 8.

Then if she uninstalls the crApps it should default to her choices for reader, media player, etc. similar to 7.

I also like the 7-replica 8GadgetPack - Gadgets for Windows 8

SO. what's everybody doing for Independence Day? I know a lot of you are from not-America, so it probably means as much as it does to me, nothing. but to the American folks, what are you guys doing for the holiday? fireworks? getting drunk? laying in bed all day, to avoid any type of family...
