fixing location of taskbar
Hi folks,
I have a Fujitsu convertable tablet running Windows 7. You'll note that these new tablets in landscape orientation have screens which are wide but not tall. I always want the taskbar located taking up space at one end of the long dimension because that's where I've got extra space for it. For instance, in landscape mode, I like the taskbar along the right side where it is out of the way and gives me what limited screen height there is for use exclusively with my applications. When I'm in portrait mode, I want the taskbar along the top, again because now the screen is tall and narrow so I want the taskbar taking up a stripe along the top because I've got lots of height but not much width. Problem is that Windows wants to move the taskbar when I change orientation, even thought I want it to stay in the same place. I want it as a stripe at the long end of the screen regardless of whether in portrait or landscape.
How can I set this up?
Thanks,
