I need to restrict a local admins read write privileges

I have several applications that start at boot, that require UAC authorization to continue. To facilitate a smooth boot, I use a workaround like this: Elevated Program Shortcut without UAC Prompt - Create. In order for the task to execute properly, I must run in an admin account.

In the computer in question there is a 250gb boot partition, as well as a 650gb storage partition. I would like to restrict the ability of my primary admin account to write, modify and or delete files and folders on this storage partition, either through permissions, or a software solution. UAC is currently at max.

    Thank you very much,

Talk with your System Administrator/Network Administrator/IT department.

There's quite a few options in this tutorial,

Permissions - Allow or Deny Users and Groups

You may find something in there to suit your needs.

Do I have this correct. The OP is the person with the administration rights and wants to stop him/herself for being able to use those rights on a storage partition?
    What am I missing?

That's the way I read it too, what I think is going on is because of this:

I have several applications that start at boot, that require UAC authorization to continue. To facilitate a smooth boot, I use a workaround like this: Elevated Program Shortcut without UAC Prompt - Create. In order for the task to execute properly, I must run in an admin account.
They are forced to run an admin account when they would rather be using a standard account.

So they want to add restrictions so there is limited access to the storage partition, if that's not quite what they want, further explanation may be needed.

You are exactly correct. I want to restrict the access to the storage partition only. Similar to the way it would work if I was using a standard account with no modify or delete privileges. I have the nasty habit of twitching and in-inadvertently deleting or otherwise modifying a file or folder. This would be a safety net for me.

If its just for yourself, you can right click on the drive, go to Properties>security and uncheck the modify/write for admins/users in the list.
