Windows 7: My laptop display has randomly increased

My laptop display has randomly increased

Turned on my laptop today to find that the toolbar, icons, windows, everything have dramatically increased in size. This doesn't seem to be an issue with the resolution because when I change the resolution the display dose change but never goes back to normal. Additionally the screens brightness wont decrease, neither the Fn keys nor control panel solve either one of these problems.

Windows 7, 32bit, Toshiba, I don't know if that info is needed but if knowing specifics would help I'm more then happy to share them.

BSOD mostly randomly, 'Attempt to reset the display driver...'
Attempt to reset the display driver and recover from timeout failed is the error message at the top of the BSOD.
