    No option to change folder icon when connecting to a share


    Hi all

    I'm after some help, I have a shared folder on a Windows 7 machine within a small home network. When connecting to this shared folder from an XP machine and right clicking and taking the customize option there is no option to "Change Icon"
    This option is available when trying from the local (W7) machine. Anyone know if there is a way of enabling this ?

So, I share a folder once. By adding "everyone" to the list of "people to share with." Then, I unshare it. All of a sudden it has a "lock icon" on it that I can't get rid of. Why?
Share Folder option greyed out

I am having a mini-lan with a couple of mates running Vista 64 and I cant seen to share one of my drives (or any folders) becuase the "share" option is greyed out!?!? The network is fine because they can both access my "public" folder but is there any way to enable sharing?? Cheers, ...
