    Partation Info needed

Using disk management (windows 7) it shows I have 20.01 GB New Volume Cblue-primary also free space of 54.54 GB (Green-free space on what looks like another partition. If I click on the green then actions it it gives only 2 options 1=new simple version(says not enough space ) 2=delete (says This is a extended partition & if you delete it it will become inaccessible). What can I do to make this space usable.I would like to make this hdd
without any partitions. Is this possible ?Any help/info is appreciated
    Thanks

IF you make "this hdd without any partitions" -- that means wiping the drive entirely, removing everything on it. Is that what you really want to do?

To be useful, a hard disk MUST contain at least one partition.

Would be better if you told us your end goal with this hard drive -- then we could advise you regarding what to do.

In that case you'd want to delete the Logical (green) Volume Free Space currently holding a space for a Logical partition you don't need.

After you delete the Logical volume it will change to Unallocated space and you can simply Extend C into it by clicking Next on every choice in Partition or Volume - Extend

If any further probs post screenshot of Disk Management - Post a Screen Capture Image - Windows 7 Forums
