No, it hangs at the "Starting Windows" screen for about 2 minutes then shuts down.

Can you do Startup repair? That reg hack shouldn't mess your boot .

The boot was the initial problem before the reg hack, and occasionally it was letting me boot into normal mode. However, it is no longer letting me do that. I tried start-up repair 3 times prior to this thread and it did not do anything to help me boot into normal mode. Should I try it again?

Confirm the Win7 or it's 100mb System Reserved partition is marked Active first: Partition - Mark as Active (Method Two).

If SysReserved is Active and fail to boot after 3 separate Startup Repairs with reboots, move Active flag to C and try again.

Other steps at Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start.

Posting back a camera snap of Partition Wizard boot CD drive map might tell us a lot.

Startup repair did not do anything. This is the 4th time I have ran it.

I confirmed that Win7 was marked active.

I am trying to get a camera snap of the Partition Wizard but I am not sure how to do it. Should I install it in safe mode?
