    MS Paint help.

I'm here from a Google search on MS Paint. The old Paint, not Paint.net, and I have some questions.
If I'm at the wrong forum, tell me, and tell me where to find the right forum.

    Ahhh help at last.

In Paint, I wanted to cut out part of a Jpeg and discard the rest of the photo.
I got the part I wanted, selected and cut out. I slid it over to the white space, but never could find it again.

Assuming you want to cut out a Head and just keep that head, and dump the rest of the Photo, how would you do that?

You would go to File and create new, then paste the cut... :)

    Wait wait...too fast.
I cut the part I want out.
Copy it. (how can I copy the cut out part?)
New File, then paste the copy to the blank new file?

Hey, that worked! Here's Bingo's head.

No worries. When you use "select" to crop and cut from the image it automatically copies the cut into Windows clipboard.

You would click on File (top left corner button) and New to clear Paint, then paste the cut image from clipboard. Afterwards, you would just adjust (drag) the borders of any extra white working space to remove it to only have the image showing. :)
