    Quick start Icons

    hi,

    win7, 64-bit.
    I'm reinstalling win7.
The "quick start icons" behavior differently.
My quick start icons are FireFox,IE, hp, and Explorer.
When I click on FF or IE, the browser replaces that icon and pushes everything to the right.
I don't remember that happening before in my last setup.
It use to put the browser after any or all the quick start Icons.

    what behavior is correct?

I just checked old XP and the icons do not get replaced with the browser.
The browser appears after the quick start icons.

After you start FF from your quick start and it opens right click on the open icon and pin it to the taskbar then unpin the 1st icon and see if that works.

    Hello Joe,

Do you mean the icons in Quick Launch instead?

If so, do you have all the icons showing and none hidden in the arrow menu?

Please go ahead and post a screenshot showing this to see if anything stands out. :)

    if the upload worked,

It has changed, now all the browsers are piled up on each other.
The first quick icon FF has 3 browsers and IE has 2 browsers.
Basically, what i want is for the browsers to show after the quick start icons.
Not piled up under the FF icon or IE icon.

Try click and drag the browsers' icons to where you want then on the Task Bar. Open a browser.
