How can I fix the constant not responding after removing virus content

Recently I downloaded programs such as photoshop etc and after I did do, my computer suddenly stopped working properly as it did before.

It started with google chrome not being able to open nor Firefox and slowly everything began to not be able to open or the desktop would automatically go into not responding. I booted in safe mode and used spybot to remove many files that were considered viruses (220 files) but even after I did this, I still continue to experience the same issue. Nothing will respond, task manager, chrome, Firefox even my documents won't open or the entire desktop stops responding. I have tried numerous system scans but nothing seems to work. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance

First of all try a System Restore to a known working point before your downloads.

I did try that, the only point that showed up when I tried was earlier today when I downloaded those programs.

You could try this, Repair Install
I think I already know the answer to this but I'll ask anyway, where did you download those programs from? I'm thinking maybe bit torrent?

Always a good idea to set a restore point before downloading and installing stuff.

I reckon you have but one choice. A clean install of Windows! If you downloaded the programs as alphanumeric suggested then this is what you must expect!

More than likely some critical system files are now corrupted. A clean install would also be my recommendation to be sure your system is safe to use.
