    Computer randomly freezes, then restarts

At random times throughout the day, my computer will freeze, then restart after 3-4 seconds.
I do not get a BSOD, so I do not know what is causing it.

In Event Viewer, in the System list, there is an Error with the details:

    - System
    - Provider
    [ Name] EventLog
    - EventID 6008
    [ Qualifiers] 32768

Webberjo, have you monitored your temps? Sounds like it might be shutting down due to heat.

My CPU and GPU haven't gone up past 40C today, so it can't be temperature.
    Thanks for trying.

Okay, good with temps, does device manager show any hardware problems?

All devices have their appropriate drivers installed, so there are no yellow question marks in Device Manager.

I would power down, re seat ram and all cable connections, then restart and see if it still happens.

I'll try that and see if it helps. Keep in mind this problem happens randomly, so if it doesn't appear in the next 3 days I'll mark this as solved. Else, I'll be coming back early.

It's been 3 days now and my computer hasn't frozen and restarted itself, so the problem is most likely gone.
Thank you for the suggestion, as well as the solution.
