I checked out the Jaton 6200. It will run fine with a 275 PSU. Most video card and PSU estimates go up to the max usage. Max usage for the 6200 isn't that high, plus Gateway over specs their PSU's. So a 275 PSU from Gateway, Dell, Acer, HP, Compaq, etc....can actually handle cards with a 375 to 400 watt requirement. I am not a gamer either. My computer activities consist of...

    screenplay writing
Browsing sites, forums, twitter, facebook with chrome, IE8, and MSN 9
Watching youtube videos, watching streaming movies through Divx
    torrenting mp3s
    Checking email
    Designing art, posters, banners etc.
And when I need to, creating .sql backup files and using filezilla to copy files to my desktop

That's about it. I won't be pushing this baby to its limits at all.

You've been talking about doing that over three threads (that I'm aware of) and several months.

    Don't tell us.....Do it!

UPDATE: So I got my new card in the mail today. It's an ATI Radeon HD 5450. Drivers were installed smoothly through AMD's auto-detect tool.

I then went into BIOS and made PCI (PEG) default video handler. The slanting issue has ceased. However, I do now need someone to point me in the direction of a possible extender for my VGA plug? My card can be configured with low profile brackets. I did that, but when I bought this computer two of the middle slots had sockets in them running into the motherboard. The only available expansion slots for me is PCI express, and one PCI. My VGA cord from the video card doesn't extend over to the fourth slot like I need it to.

Have you tried adjusting the settings on your monitor, Not the settings on the computer but the monitor its self
I doubt that would be the issue seeing as he has tried 4 different monitors whilst troubleshooting.

Edit : That is one strange issue though.

Could you borrow a discrete gpu to test it out?
So after 8 pages, my reply on the first page was the best albeit you bought a card instead of borrowing one.

I am happy you finally fixed your Unique problem :)

(I accidentally edited my first post instead of quoting it a min a go.)

One little thought. A little friendly reminder.
The Radeon HD 5450 card has a recommendation of a 400W power supply or higher.

OP, I well gladly give you a 400 watt PSU, I have two used ones with sata and pcie plugs. You pay shipping from 97222. I would rather see someone get some use from them rather then taking up storage space here.
