    Windows 10 Pro. 64/ version 1709 Windows 7 Pro/64

Hi dani02 it's me from way back in post #10.
Let me see if I understand how things are.
You bought a computer from a local store and it had Linux installed.
    You installed Windows 7 Ultimate-64 OEM/SLP
My research shows that that computer came with Windows 7 Home Premium from the factory.
Could you look on the bottom of the laptop or in the battery compartment for the COA sticker from Microsoft. It should indicated what operating system the laptop came with. Lets hope it's their. It may or may not be on the laptop because you bought it with Linux installed.
You never did answer the question I ask in post #10.

The reason I ask the questions in post #10 and now is to verify that a legal copy of Windows 7 is installed on your computer so we can continue to give help with your problems.

Note: If you find the Microsoft sticker with the 25 letter/number COA code do not post the code.

Worth a try Jack. It might be there so he can do a legal Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 .

Then where did you get the install disc for Windows 7 Ultimate and did it come with a Licence Key (The 25 letter code)?
