My computer freezes every few seconds then resumes.

After I start up my computer it seems to work fine but starts to freeze for 3-5 seconds the returns to work normally, this lasts for about 30 seconds before it freezes again. I'm pretty sure this isn't virus or internet connection related. I have been trying to pin point the problem for the last few days but haven't been able to find the cause. I'm leaning towards it being a WMI error but don't know how to fix it if it is. Any help appreciated.

    -Thanks

Run the computer in safe mode and see if it freezes up. Post back your results.

I started windows in safe mode and everything seems to be working without the freezes now. Although Anything Blizzard related doesn't open fully.

I don't know if the Blizzard launchers won't open due to the computer being in safe mode or if they are the problem.

Any Games Connected to Blizzard come up with an update window but pause halfway through the process.

Better a little late, than never...Hi ollaw, welcome to 7F! :)

Thank you for filling in "some" of your system specs, but what is the model # of your cyberpower, do you have a link?

Do you have any other programs open?

What type and how fast is your Internet Service Provider (ISP)?

Can you replicate the Update window snip it and post a screenshot? Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums
