I'm sorry but I don't see the OP's post stating the your recommendation in post #6 was completed.
My thought were this (c:\windows update\server.exe) could be a infection.
Well the OP is fixed and that is what counts.
Good job Arc.

Three intel entries and one motive entry. I would not keep those in startup :)
For me, MSE, ObjectDock and Rainmeter
Hello,
A popup appears during startup. When i untick them with MSCONFIG and i do a restart, the are back ticked again. It is Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 entries. It is four times. What to do to disable em?
I can't disable some Start up entries. They come back again.

Go with what Layback Bear suggested ... Scan the system for possible virus infection with the following programs.
I don't know which program put this but is called Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 command line tool.
Sometimes you need to turn off Start with Windows or any Updater in the program's Preferences or it will reinsert itself in Startup.
You do not need any program to start with Windows except your AV, any sync you use, Gadgets/Stickies.
Some users like their messenger to be started with Windows so they are always available.
