I'm sorry but I don't see the OP's post stating the your recommendation in post #6 was completed.

My thought were this (c:\windows update\server.exe) could be a infection.
Well the OP is fixed and that is what counts.
    Good job Arc.

The message is being caused by this startup entry .......

No code has to be inserted here.

Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

    1. Click on the Start button
    2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
    3. Select the “Startup” tab.
    4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus, Avast.
    5. Apply > OK
    6. Accept then restart.
Now restart the computer. Let us know if you are getting this message anymore or not.
What do you think about the lower four of these ?

Three intel entries and one motive entry. I would not keep those in startup :)

For me, MSE, ObjectDock and Rainmeter

I can't disable some Start up entries. They come back again.

Go with what Layback Bear suggested ... Scan the system for possible virus infection with the following programs.

Sometimes you need to turn off Start with Windows or any Updater in the program's Preferences or it will reinsert itself in Startup.

You do not need any program to start with Windows except your AV, any sync you use, Gadgets/Stickies.

Some users like their messenger to be started with Windows so they are always available.
