    Permission Error


    I need to access the print server..

    Can other pc's at home see PRINTSERVER? If so, can they print?

    ping  printserver
    4 sent, 4 recieved, 0 errors? That's fine.
    If not working.... Same on other machines?

    Is PRINTSERVER a pc with a printer attached? Or just a printer that exposes itself as a windows network printer?

    Its attached to a pc. Its a wireless network. So all of us must have access to the print server. Only the one I cant.

    So printer is connected wired (most likely usb) to computer PRINTSERVER?

    Yes is it connected to a wire. All of the laptop are in a home group. Then everybody can print because everyone has access to the printer.
