    Also, I'd strongly recommend doing a scan with Viprerescue scanner which you can find here >> >> VIPRE Rescue - VIPRE Computer Recovery Solution just in case there are some more problems or anything you didn't catch, another thing to do is get one of my favorite programs, IOBit Toolbox, for any optimization and cleaning alongside CCleaner. I wouldn't recommend using IOBits registry cleaner, rather, just use CCleaner, These are some of the main tools i use in my optimization toolkit.
    I'd recommend removing programs with IOBit uninstaller, because it searches and finds the extra files the regular windows uninstaller leaves behind :)

    You will need all 377 Fangs to defend yourself against the wrath of Dave and Gregrocker! Anyway thanks for your advice. As I have not heard of the programs you mentioned; I will seek further advice on their usefulness and safety.
