vista, did u mean to type Win.lnk instead of Win.link?

also, wherever you found the fix, instead a an L, i think it may supposed to be an I, so it may be Win.Ink :)

aright, i wasn't sure, just in case it could have been that, i figured if it didn't come uo with nuthin, we could try that, but it did, so no worries :)

well, nuthin in registry, vista, should we delete the file??? idk, how do u recommend killing it? it's the win.lnk file we gotta kill in my understanding, right?
