Thanks Tom, I did the restore option and it still failed to open.

I downloaded the 7-Zip and afterwards is the zip file supposed to automatically open or am I supposed to reprogram the 7-Zip somehow?

Right click on the file then click 7-zip > Extract Here :)

When I right click on the zip file, either in the downloads area or on my desktop, it doesn't give me any options. I've been using the Open button on top and then extracting it because that's the only way I can do it.

I tried to Open it instead with Internet Explorer and my computer started going haywire with the screen flashing black so I had to stop it immediately...

I'm so sorry, I'm trying really hard to follow your directions but my computer is really messed up. I'm sorry I'm being a major hassle

No need to apologise! It sounds like it's not your fault that you can't follow the instructions, but it's because of the other problems on your computer getting in the way.

Would you prefer if I did this remotely? I could take control of your computer with TeamViewer and have you up and running in no time - hopefully! The choice is yours though, and I really don't mind either way :)

If you want to carry on as we are then just let me know.

If you're happy to let me fix this remotely, then download and install TeamViewer and PM me your 'Your ID' and 'Password', shown on the main TeamViewer window.
