Lets run the tests on the HDD first, then tackle the latter.

Okay, so it passed the short test but when doing the long test on 13% progress small text that is barely readable shows up on the top of screen, only part I can read is "thank you for using".. and when I move tge cursor the screen freezes and the computer makes a loud high pitched noise.

So I did it again and this time it happened on 55%. I'll try it again, but I dont know whether it will be able to finish.

That is not a good sign, do you have a spear HDD to test with whether this occurs again with a different one?

Yes, does it just have to be the same os for the same cd to work?

The same CD is enough, since you're running the tool from a CD-drive in a DOS environment
the OS has nothing to do with it.

Ok but something is clearly wrong.
Try the original HDD one more time for good measure.

Try increasing the hiberfil.sys file to a 100%.
