My windows keeps tabbing me out of my current windows

I have found a previous case very much like my own but the solution the user applied is unfamiliar to me and by the sound of it he now has an inferior windows experience to fix this ungodly bug.

so in short what windows does is tab me out of whatever I am doing. this does not happen when I am playing games because in a game I am constantly clicking on my windows and keeping it active so even if the bug does happen I do not notice it. It also happens when I watch movies but I dont notice it because I am not typing or scrolling/navigating much until I need to pause/stop the mediaplayer. however instead of 1 click it takes me 2...

this problem is most prominent when I am writing an essay on word or an email or just simply navigating through youtube and other websites. it is one of the most annoying bugs I have ever encountered. I am typing and when I look up I notice for the past dozen words nothing I typed got registered... I need to re-click the windows to re-active it so that I may be able to type again.

I have a 64 bit windows.
for the love of all that is holy help me, The bug happened over 12 times when I typed this...

Why do you think the OP from that other thread now has "an inferior Windows Experience"?

In that thread he said he disabled everything in MSCONFIG and then Re-Enabled them and the problem went away. So he has everything working as it was and without the Tabbing out.
So why not give it a try and see what happens?

There is an option with some mouse software, or in windows itself, to Move Focus with the cursor. Could it be that setting that is causing the focus to move from the window you are in to another or the desktop by the cursor moving while you are typing

what I understood was that he switched from the Windows 7 style to the classical, IE Windows 98 design.

and like I mentioned earlier I am not sure how the person did what he did. do you mind telling me where he went to reset these options?

No where does he say he used the Classic Style and that really isn't available in Win 7 without an add-on program like Classic Shell.

To disable startup item you can use MSConfig as the OP of that other thread used.

Click the Start button and in the search field type msconfig and click on msconfig.exe. Go to the startup tab. Disable when you don't want to start when the system starts.

Can somebody tell me how msconfig works? on which tab should i be and what should i dissable?
