    Default File Association Problem

I am wanting to make MPC-HC player my default for video playback. However, when I do the 'Open With', check the 'always use this as default' box, and select the .exe, the 'Open With' dialogue's 'OK' button is greyed out. I even did the restore default assoc. tutorial here with no luck. Help!

    -thnx

go to View> options, then click formats in MPC-HC player, then select the format the file is, (like .avi or mpg) then try :)

I believe you need to do this one file type at a time,
Click the Start button and click on Default programs,
Click on Associate a file type and protocol with a program,
Click on a know file type you have and click on Change programs,
Search for the program of choice and click on Make default,
    Repeat.
In addition most programs like this give you the option to make them your default when installing them if this one didn't ?

this one didn't i had to use wine to install it to see if it did, but then i went into options and saw that it may not be set for his particular video file :)
