Possible to have C for two partitions in different installations?

    You would get precisely those error messages if your copied installation is not on G or if the hive was already in use. Probably your reboot did the job.

    Try booting into the copied installation.

    You're welcome.

    It is a good idea to make images evrey so often. Plenty of good free versions for that.

    Aomei works well, and will make a pe boot disc for you:
